Many brides like to buy a wedding dress and then come to Adrienne to carry out alterations. Wedding dress alterations can be a case of simply altering the size or length, but it can also be the total transformation of something simple into the dress of your dreams.

Danielle's Story

Danielle initially came for a bespoke dress design meeting. On this occasion she had a small budget, and wanted the best for her money. She found a lovely wedding dress from an American company, and bought the dress from a bridal shop in England. The dress was lovely on the outside, but the inside was constructed with cheap fabrics, i.e. nylon. The bride was getting married in Cyprus, and required silk lining, and a non-nylon corset. She bought the dress to Adrienne who removed the zip and relpaced the inside corsetry with a cotton canvas, which was boned but which was less protruding into Danielle's body (more comfortable). The dress was then lined with silk habitie. In addition, Adrienne covered buttons and loops and also inserted an inside lace up corset to improve the bride's shape (smaller waist). To finish, Adrienne lightly beaded and sequined the flower that was on the front of the original dress to add a touch of finesse to the final look. Below is a series of photographs to show the transformed dress.
